Sustainable timber frame construction with Irebuild
Irebuild can design and build bespoke timber frame constructions specific to your needs. Where possible, the timber that we use is reclaimed, locally-sourced and sustainably-felled.
Our projects range from small, residential extensions, conversions, garden offices and summer houses, to large new builds and commercial structures.

Timber frame structures for commercial projects
We welcome large-scale commercial projects, particularly those that are seeking to build environmentally-conscious structures.
One such project is the award-winning Caddsdown Business Park.
We also led the construction and project management of a large commercial barn in Somerset. For this we used oak frames that were reclaimed from storms in 1989.
Timber frames were also used to create The Linay – an eco-learning centre based just outside of Exeter, Devon. You can find out more about this project on the The Linhay project page.
Timber frame structures for houses and extensions
We frequently use reclaimed and sustainably-sourced timber to build long-lasting residential structures.
Our latest project, located in Crackington Haven, Bude, is an excellent example. A large portion of the timber was reclaimed from the site itself. All new timber was sourced from local suppliers to reduce carbon emissions. Larch cladding was used as there has been clear felling of all larch throughout UK due to disease.
One of our timber frame projects, Otter Farm, was featured on Channel 4’s Grand Designs. Find out more on the Otter Farm project page.

Our timber frame structures are entirely bespoke. This means that we price each project individually and will make an assessment based on your vision and specifications. Where possible, we will use reclaimed, locally-sourced and sustainable timber.
